Sami Sankala is a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Nexi Group since December 2021, Sami has previously held senior engineering roles at Nets in Finland from May 2011 to December 2021, focusing on backend systems and payment terminal programming. Prior to that, Sami worked as a System Specialist, specializing in payment terminal and ECR integrations. Sami began a career in development at Xemec Oy, where from January 2001 to March 2011, skills were applied to mechatronics and embedded systems, notably programming processors for advanced machinery.
