Andrea Mencarini has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Head of Business Unit Issuing at Nexi since November 2017. Previously, Mencarini held the same position at Gruppo ICBPI from October 2016 to January 2020. A strong background in leadership roles includes board memberships at Tecmarket Servizi S.P.A and Agos Ducato Spa, as well as heading various divisions like Individuals and Sales and Marketing at Banco Popolare from January 2009 to January 2016. Earlier roles also featured board positions at Key Client Cards & Solutions and Consorzio Bancomat, along with marketing leadership at Unicreditbanca and UniCredit. Mencarini holds a degree in Business Economics from the Università La Sapienza di Roma and further education from SDA Bocconi.
