Giovanni Turi currently serves as CIO for Central, South, and East Europe at Nexi Group and holds board member positions at Nexi Greece and Nexi Croatia. Prior to their current roles, Giovanni Turi was the Group Head of Chatbot Engineering and Head of Digital Engineering at Vodafone from June 2018 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes responsibilities as Responsabile Digital Application Solutions at Poste Italiane and as Responsabile Implementazione Sistemi e Soluzioni Tecnologiche at Postecom S.p.A. Giovanni Turi began their career at Accenture as a Manager in the Technology Consulting practice and worked as a researcher at CNR Pisa and IIT-CNR. Giovanni Turi earned a PhD in Computer Engineering and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Università degli studi di Pisa, and attended La Sapienza in Rome.
