Mei Tan has a wealth of work experience in the marketing and communications field. Mei began their career in 2004 as a Business Development Executive at WMD Services (Image Inc). In 2007, they became the Marketing & PR Manager at Body Contours Wellness Spa, where they were responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing plan with a low budget. In 2010, they took on the role of Head of Marketing at Mongoose Publishing, where they managed all marketing & events sub-teams and developed mutually beneficial partnerships. In 2013, they became the Associate Publisher & Business Development Director at Time Out Hong Kong, where they oversaw the overall revenue and managed sales teams. Since 2016, they have been the Director of Marketing Communications and Partnerships and Head of Events, Asia at NexChange, a digital merchant bank specializing in fintech, blockchain, AI, healthtech, and smart cities.
Mei Tan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UCSI between 2002 and 2005.
