Amanda Masondo is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism, production, and podcasting. Currently serving as the host of the Makala podcast channel at Hekima Counsel since March 2023, Amanda has also been a Senior Business Producer at Newzroom 405 since July 2019 and held the same role at POWER 987 from October 2017 to August 2019. Previous positions include Senior Producer at Moneyweb and Technical Producer at 1485 Radio Today. Amanda began a career in journalism with roles at Wancareerlife online magazine and MICAMPUS, where skills in writing, editing, and photography were developed. Amanda holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg and a Certificate in Property Development and Investment from the University of Cape Town.
