Catherine Vandenberg has over 10 years of professional experience. In 2012, they began their career as an Office Manager at Chatel Real Estate. In 2015, they moved on to become an English Teacher at Double Helix STEAM School, where they designed and implemented STEAM integrated lesson plans for English Language Arts for 4th grade- 8th grade students. Catherine also differentiated instruction to meet the needs of an intellectually and emotionally diverse student body. In 2017, they took on the role of English Teacher at Putnam County High School, where they developed and modified curriculum based on Georgia Standards of Excellence (English I, English II, and AP Literature & Composition). Catherine also collaborated daily with students, parents, and colleagues to improve student learning, monitored data and differentiated instruction to optimize achievement in a Title-1 school, and effectively managed student behavior through relationship building. In 2022, they became a Business Development Representative at NewtonX, where they currently work.

Catherine Vandenberg began their educational journey at Immaculate Heart High School & Middle School, where they earned their High School Diploma in 2005. Catherine then attended Indiana University Bloomington, where they obtained a BA in English Literature and History in 2009. In 2006, they studied Literature at the University of Westminster, and in 2013, they earned their MAT in English Education from The University of Georgia.
