Máté Földi is an experienced educator currently serving as an IB MYP Geography Teacher, IB Global Politics Teacher, and IB MYP English Language Acquisition Teacher at Newton Free School since September 2022. Concurrently, Máté has contributed as a Freelance Contributor to World Nomads since May 2018, following the success of winning the 2018 Travel Writing Scholarship. Previous roles include Sports News Commentator at Eurosport from August 2019 to December 2022, Football Commentator for PGS in early 2021, Multimedia Journalist at JAMnews from May to August 2019, and various journalism positions at Georgia Today and Where.ge from September 2017 to May 2018. Máté holds a Master's degree in Journalism and International Affairs from Sciences Po, a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies & Arabic from Sciences Po, and has completed the Arabic Program for the Social Sciences at Ecole de Gouvernance et d'Economie de Rabat, in addition to earning an IB Diploma.
