Vinicius Souza has been in the software engineering industry since 2012. Theirfirst job was as a Java Software Developer at Ci&T from 2012-2013. Vinicius then moved on to work as an IT Infrastructure Analyst at Tribunal Regional do Trabalho 15ª Região - Campinas/SP from 2014-2018. During this time, they were responsible for backup infrastructure management, systems and networks monitoring, and Linux server administration. In 2018, they accepted a role as a Software Engineer at NTT Communications, where they were responsible for creating web services, documenting API definitions and contracts, and helping to deliver top quality software. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer at NewsWhip.

Vinicius Souza obtained an Information Security Technologist degree from Jobs in São Paulo between 2014 and 2017, studying Information Technology. Prior to that, they obtained an Informatics Technician degree from Colégio Técnico de Limeira - Unicamp between 2009 and 2011, studying Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from Oracle: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer in November 2016 and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer in May 2016.
