Grace MacRae is a seasoned media professional with a strong background in social media management and news reporting. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Social Media at Newsweek since September 2022, MacRae focuses on enhancing engagement and guiding a team in managing branded social media accounts. Prior experience includes Social Media Manager at Reach plc, where collaboration with social media heads and editors led to the formation of a dedicated team for the Daily Express, and roles at Express Newspapers, which encompassed responsibilities as News Reporter, Deputy Overnight News Editor, and Overnight News Editor. Earlier career experiences include an internship at KMTV, a Social Media Manager position at AMMPE World, contributing writing for The Land Collective, and a reporting role at Kentish Express. MacRae holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kent.
