Emily Liu is an experienced associate editor at Newspaper Media Group, where responsibilities include writing multiple weekly stories focused on local government, education, and community organizations. Previously, Emily worked as a bakery clerk at ShopRite and as a freelance developmental editor for Lea Tran, enhancing manuscript clarity and assisting with marketing strategies. At Rutgers Ballroom, Emily coordinated competitions, managed event marketing, and facilitated practice sessions. Additionally, experience as a sound technician at Rutgers Student Center involved setting up technical equipment and troubleshooting issues during presentations. Emily contributed as a program assistant for the Mandela Washington Fellowship at Rutgers Global Affairs. Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media from Rutgers University.
