Cherie Wakey is a seasoned licensed optician with extensive experience in the optical field. Currently serving at Newsom Eye since August 2015, Cherie's previous roles include licensed optician positions at US Vision and National Vision Inc., where Cherie also held the title of General Manager. Prior work experience includes roles as a licensed optician at Sunland Optical and a clinic manager at Century Eye Care, alongside an early position as a receptionist at Pedodontic Associates. Cherie holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Opticianry/Ophthalmic Dispensing Optician from Hillsborough Community College and completed high school at Kamehameha Schools.
