Dr. Charner L. Rodgers

Dr. Charner L. Rodgers is an experienced academic and professional in architecture, engineering, and construction management. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at NewSchool of Architecture & Design since August 2011, Dr. Rodgers has held significant roles in various organizations, including Development Director - Business Diversity at McDonald's from July 2022 to September 2023, where oversight of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategic vision was a key responsibility. At Tuskegee University, Dr. Rodgers progressed from Associate Professor to Senior Program Coordinator of Industry Relations, focusing on corporate partnerships and student advising from January 2019 to August 2022. Previous experiences include leading CLR Enterprises as President, where consultation on DEI strategies took precedence, and various project management roles with Kennesaw State University, Rodgers & Rodgers general contractors, and the Georgia Department of Transportation. Dr. Rodgers holds a PhD in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master of Engineering from Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from The University of Memphis.
