Carlie Bonavia has over 14 years of experience in the media industry. Carlie began their career in 2006 as a Radio Journalist and Producer at Super Radio Network. Carlie then moved to Nova Entertainment in 2007, where they worked as a Radio Journalist. In 2010, they joined Southern Cross Austereo as a Senior Radio Journalist. In 2013, they became the Employment and Engagement Manager at Elements Personnel. In 2014, they were a Project Manager at EF Education First. In 2021, they began working as a Voice Over Artist for PHMG and a Studio Manager, Social Media Lives & WISE On Air for AUDITOIRE. Carlie also works as a Host for The Expat Focus Podcast for Expat Focus. Currently, they are a Content & Communications Manager at Newsbridge.

Carlie Bonavia completed their VCE - High School Certificate equivalent at Penola Catholic College between 1998 and 2003, majoring in Theirtory, Literature, Media, Information Technology, Business Management, and Music. Carlie then attended RMIT University from 2004 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations. In 2005, they graduated from Swinburne University of Technology with a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Commercial Radio.
