Dan Krigstein

Director, The Growth Intelligence Centre at News Corp Australia

Dan Krigstein has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Dan started their career as a Marketing Intern at Burton Snowboards in 2009. Dan then worked at Paramount Home Entertainment from 2009 to 2011, first as a Market Insights Analyst and later as a Marketing Insights Manager. After that, they joined Paramount Pictures as a Manager of Worldwide Market Intelligence from 2011 to 2014.

In 2014, Dan joined Paramount Home Entertainment again, this time as the Commercial Planning Manager. Dan later served as the Head of Business Intelligence before leaving the company in 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Twentieth Century Fox, initially as a Commercial Manager and then as a Senior Commercial Manager for Australia and Emerging Markets.

In 2019, Dan joined Qantas as a Senior Manager, first in the role of Senior Manager - Partner Data & Analytics Solutions for Qantas Loyalty, and later as the Senior Manager - Customer Data & Partnerships. Dan then moved on to News Corp Australia in 2020, initially as the General Manager of The Growth Intelligence Centre, and ultimately assuming the role of Director of The Growth Intelligence Centre.

Dan Krigstein has a Master of Business Administration (Executive) degree in Strategic Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, they completed the Foundations of Directorship program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, focusing on governance, strategy & risk, and finance. Dan also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and International Business from UNSW. In terms of certifications, Dan obtained a Certified Organisational Coach qualification from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in April 2019. Earlier, in 2013, they achieved a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Aveta Business Institute. In 2008, Dan obtained a Certificate in Market Research from AMSRS.
