Joey Bowers is an experienced professional in the fostering and education sectors, currently holding the position of Project Manager for Fostering Wellbeing at The Fostering Network since May 2023, as well as serving as an Independent Foster Panel Member at TheraParent Fostering and Vice-Chair of the Fostering Panel for Newport City Council since December 2022. Previously, Joey Bowers chaired the Fostering Panel at Cyngor Sir CEREDIGION County Council, and worked as a Business Development Manager at GroupEd, which specializes in school management and communication software. A trained educator, Joey Bowers served as Head of Year and Head of Department at Oasis Community Learning and as a Humanities Teacher at Cabot Learning Federation. Earlier roles include teaching assistant and customer service manager, complemented by a PGCE in Secondary Education from Bath Spa University and a degree in Early Years Education from the University of South Wales.
