Aric Mattson is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as the Executive Sous Chef at Newport Beach Country Club since July 2021. Previously, Aric held the same position at Old Ranch Country Club from July 2018 to July 2021 and worked as a Sous Chef at Big Canyon Country Club between July 2015 and July 2018. Aric began career in the culinary field at Charlie Palmer Group, where responsibilities included Sous Chef and Cook from November 2012 to May 2015, following a diverse role at Red Oak BBQ Corp, spanning from June 2004 to October 2013, which involved management and service roles. Aric acquired formal culinary education at Orange Coast College, obtaining an AA/AS in Advanced Culinary Arts from 2009 to 2012, after completing high school at Los Alamitos High School from 1999 to 2003.
