Cal Palermo is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Coordinator at New Orleans & Company since July 2021, where responsibilities include leading the production of the quarterly publication “Tourism Matters.” Previous roles include serving as a Public Relations Intern, which involved media monitoring and maintaining up-to-date media contact lists, at New Orleans & Company. Prior experience also includes a Communications Intern position at the LSU Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs, creating press releases and managing communications for the Louisiana Survey, as well as contributing to the organization of events as a Communications & Operations Intern at the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. Cal Palermo holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University, a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communication, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Tulane University.
