Daojing Wang has a strong background in scientific research and entrepreneurship. Daojing is the Founder and CEO of Newomics, Inc., a company they established in 2013. Prior to that, they were a Founder and President at the same company. From 2002 to 2013, they worked at Berkeley Lab as a Scientist and Principal Investigator. Before that, they conducted research at UCSF as a Researcher from 2001 to 2002. Daojing also worked as a Scientist at SurroMed from 2000 to 2001 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2000.

Daojing Wang received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University, from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1994, Daojing Wang obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
