Dominic Murphy is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in exploration and resource delivery, currently serving as Superintendent of Exploration at Newmont Corporation since November 2023. Previously, Dominic held various roles at Newcrest Mining from July 2011 to November 2023, including Superintendent of Exploration for the Havieron project, Senior Exploration Geologist focused on Asia Pacific greenfields, and West Africa Senior Geologist, where responsibilities included greenfields gold discovery and project coordination.
