Adelayda van Veen is a highly experienced professional in the field of cyber security and infrastructure project management, currently serving as the Senior Cyber Security Projects Lead at Newcrest Mining since March 2021. Prior to this role, Adelayda held various leadership positions at MMG Limited from December 2011 to March 2021, including Delivery Lead for Global Infrastructure Programs and Projects, and Senior Infrastructure Project Manager. Adelayda's experience also includes significant roles at IBM as Program Manager and Technical Test Team Manager, as well as positions at National Australia Bank, Telstra, KAZ, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics, covering a range of technical and consulting roles. Adelayda holds multiple certifications and degrees, including Agile PM Practitioner and PMP, with a strong educational background in information technology and computer animation from the Canberra Institute of Technology and FileNet.
