Mike Hanna

Mike Hanna has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Mike is the Chairman and CEO of Newmedical Technology, Inc., a global medical device company focused on providing innovative surgical products and therapeutic solutions. Mike co-founded the company in 2001 and has been leading it since 2002.

Mike also founded InterPro Global Partners, LLC in 1991 and served as the Chairman and CEO until 2003. Additionally, they co-founded Interpro Translation Solutions in 1995 and served as the CEO until 2002.

In the non-profit sector, Mike served as the Director and Board member of The International Trade Club of Chicago from 2007 to 2021. Mike was also the Chairman of the board and the President of The Orbis Forum, an organization for top technology CEOs and entrepreneurs in Chicago, from 2000 to 2002. Mike was a member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Technology Association from 1994 to 2002.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Mike held leadership positions in organizations such as INFOMAG, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the US Naval Station in San Diego. Mike has a strong background in communication and IT management.

Mike Hanna received their HND in Mechanical Engineering and Business from Dudley College in the years 1977 to 1981. Mike then pursued a BSC in Math at the University of California, San Luis Obispo from 1981 to 1982. Afterwards, they attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1982 to 1985 and obtained a BSEE in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
