Jen Wells is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and management. Currently serving as Regional Controller for the Americas at NewMarket Corporation since October 2011, Jen has successfully managed accounting teams in Mexico and Brazil and achieved significant milestones including a consistent four-day close process, in-housing of accounting functions, and completion of overdue transfer pricing studies and statutory audits. Prior roles at NewMarket Corporation include Accounting Manager and Senior Accounting Supervisor, focusing on monthly closings, cost standards, and internal controls. Earlier experience includes accounting supervision at Selective Insurance and auditing at Ernst & Young. Jen holds an MBA in Accounting from Rutgers University and a BS in International Business and French from the University of Scranton.
