Ken Wampler has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and resort industry. Ken has held multiple leadership roles, including President of Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, Inc. since 2019, President of the Association Management Division & Business Development at the same company since 2009. Ken also served as the Chairman of the Okaloosa County Tourist Development Council starting in 2017.
Prior to these roles, Wampler served as the Chief Executive Officer at Resort Rental and Management, where they provided support to various organizations in marketing, advertising, customer and owner services, and more. Ken also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at both Sterling Resorts and The Sterling Companies, where they focused on the development, growth, and leadership of member- and customer-driven organizations.
Earlier in their career, Wampler worked as the Director of Resort Operations at Arnold Palmers Bay Hill Club & Lodge, the Resort Manager at Palm Coast Golf Resort, the Director of Lodging and Health & Fitness Center Director at Amelia Island Plantation, and the Recreation Director at Amelia Island.
Ken Wampler earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 1985. Ken later completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing & Finance at the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration from 1990 to 1993.
