David is the Co-Managing Partner of Newlight Partners. From 2005 to 2018, David was Co‐Head, alongside Ravi Yadav, of the Strategic Investments Group of Soros Fund Management, where he also served on the firm’s Investment Committee.

David resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
