Betty Olivolo is an accomplished environmental education professional with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Natural Start Alliance at the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), Betty has been involved in significant initiatives such as early childhood environmental education and curriculum development. Betty’s career includes roles as an environmental education consultant, recreational assistant, and substitute teacher, alongside previous teaching positions in international settings. Notably, Betty held managerial roles at the World Wildlife Fund and the Council for Environmental Education, where contributions included developing educational materials and managing international programs. Betty holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Plymouth State College.
