Clark Freifeld is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at NewGrid since August 2022 and has held multiple academic and technical roles, including Affiliate Faculty and Research Software Developer at Boston Children's Hospital since October 2005. Clark worked at Northeastern University from January 2016 to August 2022 as an Assistant Teaching Professor and Lecturer in Computer Science. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as CTO at Epidemico from October 2007 to July 2020 and working as Principal Software Engineer at AlphaMetrics Capital Management from August 2003 to August 2005. Clark earned a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering & Informatics from Boston University (2010-2014), a Master of Science in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008-2010), and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Yale University.
