Mark Townsley is an experienced professional in the field of design and materials technology, currently serving as a Senior Designer at New Flyer since September 2019, focusing on new product development. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Vice President of Ground Transportation and Design at Composites Innovation Centre from August 2009 to April 2019, overseeing a team in the development of advanced composite materials for various industries. Mark's extensive background includes roles as Senior Design & Materials Technologist at Motor Coach Industries and Design Technologist at Lockheed Martin, with early experience at New Flyer and Bombardier Transportation. Mark holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from RRC Polytech, earned between 1989 and 1992.
