Gary Johnson is a Project Hydrogeologist II at NewFields since June 2020, where responsibilities include 3D geologic modeling, dam breach modeling, groundwater flow modeling, technical writing, and field planning for hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations. Prior to this role, Gary held several positions at Seequent, including Project Hydrogeologist and Customer Solution Specialist, contributing to the development of visual data science software for geoscience applications. Gary's experience also includes a brief tenure as a Geotechnician at Best Engineering Solutions and Technologies, LLC, and serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. Gary earned a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Colorado Boulder and has additional educational experience at the University of Otago.
