Maria Camila Navas Gomez has over a decade of experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Senior Manager of Global Finance Projects at Newell Brands since January 2012. Throughout their tenure at Newell Brands, Maria has held various leadership roles, including Sr. Accounting Manager and Team Leader, where responsibilities encompassed the management of monthly financial closings, transactional and analytical accounting, as well as accounts payable and receivable. Prior experience includes a Junior Consultant role at PwC, focusing on business process evaluations and internal controls, and a Compliance Assistant position at PwC, where audits were conducted in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley regulations. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Universidad Externado de Colombia, obtained in 2008.
