David Armstrong is an experienced IT executive, currently serving as VP of IT Business Applications at Newell Brands since September 2016. Prior roles include Vice President of IT at Jarden Corporation, where David led a global IT organization and managed strategic investments and deployments. Previous experience includes Director of IT/SCM at K2 Inc., overseeing the development of corporate IT and supply chain functions, and CIO at Brass Eagle, Inc., where David managed the IT function through startup and IPO phases. David's career began as a Senior IT Analyst at Daisy Mfg., with additional experience as Sales & IT Manager at Ai Research, where software development for ERP systems was a key focus. David holds a degree from Oklahoma State University, where studies were completed from 1983 to 1987.
