Mamata Gelanee is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in Android application development and team management. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at NewDay since September 2022, Mamata focuses on fostering a high-performing, autonomous engineering team while mentoring members and driving best practices. Prior roles include Lead Mobile Engineer at Curve, where Mamata oversaw the development of new features, and Android Team Lead at Peak Brain Training, emphasizing team leadership and feature ownership. Mamata's leadership extends to community involvement, having served as Director of Women Who Code London and Organizer for Women Techmakers in Baroda, consistently facilitating events and cross-community collaboration. Mamata holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, attained in 2014.
