Angelica Flores, M.Ed, currently serves as an Education Programs Assistant at the Poetry Foundation, responsible for overseeing administrative and logistical tasks related to various educational initiatives, including the POL National Finals and Summer Teachers Institutes. Angelica has also contributed as a Contributing Writer for Newcity since October 2019 and has experience as a Feature Writer for both SIXTY INCHES FROM CENTER and THE GATE newspaper/BYNC. Additionally, Angelica interned at the Office of International Services at the University of Illinois Chicago, focusing on enhancing housing resources for international students with disabilities.
