Ulrich Reichard

Ulrich Reichard has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as a harpist working as a freelancer. During this time, they organized and facilitated concerts while also teaching individuals to play the harp. Ulrich gained recognition with numerous national and international prizes and scholarships. In 2003, Ulrich served as a civilian for the Berufsgenossenschaftliche Unfallklinik Tuebingen. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Durham University as a tutor, where they developed and delivered lectures, tutorials, and workshops for undergraduate students. Ulrich also provided academic and pastoral support, assessing student work and offering feedback. Ulrich also obtained membership with the Higher Education Academy. Ulrich then joined Deloitte UK as an Audit and Accounts Administrator from 2014 to 2015. At PwC, from 2015 to 2020, Ulrich worked as an Assurance Senior Associate. Ulrich recently joined Newcastle Building Society in 2020 as the Head of Technical Reporting and Capital.

Ulrich Reichard has a diverse education history. Ulrich first attended Schule Birklehof from 1994 to 2003, where they obtained their High School degree, known as Abitur. Following this, they pursued Philosophy, Literature, and Arabic at The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they also completed a Master's Degree in Philosophy at Durham University from 2007 to 2008.

Ulrich furthered their academic journey by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Philosophy at Durham University from 2009 to 2013. After this, they obtained a Professional Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) from 2015 to 2018.

More recently, Ulrich pursued a Professional Qualification in Treasury at the Association of Corporate Treasurers from 2019 to 2022. Ulrich also obtained additional certifications, including a Certificate in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in August 2019 and the AFHEA (Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy) from the Higher Education Academy in February 2014.
