Marc Thompson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, including SaaS, RegTech, Fintech, and media. Currently serving as the CTO at NewBook since November 2022, Marc previously held the position of CTO/CPO at CompliSpace, where the focus was on governance, risk, and compliance solutions. Prior to CompliSpace, Marc was the Global Head of Engineering at Coates Group, and served as CTO at Maxwell Forest Inc, leading innovation in fintech and IoT. Marc's background includes significant roles at Fairfax Media, culminating in General Manager of Product Solutions, where responsibilities included overseeing a large team and delivering diverse digital products. The career also features leadership in development and e-commerce at various organizations. Marc holds a BSc Honors degree in Information Systems from the University of Leeds.
