Justine Sclater is an experienced professional in the thoroughbred racing industry, currently serving as the Head of Welfare and Sustainability at New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Inc since May 2023. Prior to this role, Justine held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Association from November 2017 to May 2023. Justine also gained valuable experience in stallion nominations at Waikato Stud from 2014 to 2017 and at Haunui Farm from 2010 to 2014. Justine's educational background includes attendance at St Cuthbert's College.
