Jackie Bubb is an experienced professional in disaster management and resilience, currently serving as the Director of Domestic Operations and previously as Disaster Response Manager at New Zealand Red Cross since December 2019. Prior roles include Disaster Readiness Consultant for World Vision, focusing on the Pacific and Timor-Leste, and Disaster Risk Reduction Officer at VSA. Jackie held various positions at Auckland Council, accumulating extensive expertise in emergency management and resilience between 2013 and 2017. Additional experience includes coordination roles at Habitat for Humanity and the Child Cancer Foundation. Academically, Jackie holds a Master of Philosophy in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Auckland University of Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Management from Massey University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Education from Victoria University of Wellington.
