Jens Berg is a seasoned Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at NZ Post since April 2016, where responsibilities include leading a major upgrade to a 20TB enterprise data warehouse and implementing a new ETL tool with established standards for development. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Data Warehouse Consultant for the Municipality of Copenhagen and Region Sjælland, focusing on enhancing data warehouse functionalities using Oracle and SQL Server. Jens has extensive experience at NZ Post, where significant contributions were made in designing data models and improving warehouse performance. Early career roles involved DBA responsibilities and database installation at the Department of Internal Affairs New Zealand and the National Bank of New Zealand, as well as various positions in different organizations globally. Jens holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Copenhagen Technicum, complemented by an apprenticeship in electronics.
