Tripti Singh currently serves as the Director of the National Centre for Timber Durability and Design Life at the University of the Sunshine Coast since August 2023. With a robust background at Scion since 2010, Tripti has held multiple titles, including Senior Scientist and Team Leader for Wood Science Design. Previous experience includes serving as Group Leader for Bioactives at Ensis from 2005 to 2009, where responsibilities included research direction and project management for the Bioactives wood protection group. Tripti's career began as a Scientist in Wood Processing at Forest Research and a Molecular Biologist at Fletcher Challenge Forest Ltd. Tripti holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wood Mycology from Lincoln University, completed between 2001 and 2005.
