Sarah Silvernail is an experienced instructional design manager at the New York State School Boards Association since July 2022, where responsibilities include developing engaging learning experiences and delivering training via Canvas LMS. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a teacher at Schroon Lake Central School from July 2017 to June 2022 and was active in several committees, including chairing the district Shared Decision Making Committee. In addition, Sarah worked as an adjunct lecturer at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, contributing to course development and instruction. As an NGSS consultant for 3D Science Cafe from June 2018 to April 2022, Sarah led professional development initiatives for educators adapting to new science standards. Sarah's educational background includes a Master of Science in Literacy from Russell Sage College and a Master of Arts in Teaching English from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University at Albany.
