Allashia Smith-Harris, LMHC, CASAC Advanced, currently serves as the Director of the Assertive Community Treatment Institute at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, overseeing training and consultations. With a private practice since April 2018, Allashia employs an eclectic therapeutic approach to enhance individual wellness. Previous roles include Project Consultant and Vice President of Community Programs at the Mental Health Association of Westchester Inc., Behavioral Health Parity Compliance Manager at MetroPlusHealth, and various clinical and managerial positions in mental health and healthcare settings. Allashia holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and is pursuing a Doctor of Human Services degree, furthering expertise in leadership and organizational management.
