Angel M Rivera has a variety of work experience in the political field. Angel M worked as the Outreach Director for Senator Phil Boyle in the New York State Senate starting in 2013. Prior to that, they were the Special Projects Coordinator for Senator Carl L. Marcellino from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they served as the Deputy Communications Director for the Long Island Regional Office of the New York State Senate Majority from 2005 to 2009.

Angel M Rivera completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science Interdisciplinary at Stony Brook University from 1989 to 1991. Following this, Rivera pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Policy- Public Policy at Stony Brook University from 1999 to 2000.
