Paul T. Ortolano is an experienced leader in event management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Event Operations at New York Road Runners since February 2006, overseeing planning and development for all events, including budget management and city relations. Prior experience includes roles at Walt Disney World, where as Senior Sports Manager, Paul managed the marathon weekend and various sporting events, achieving operational profitability and enhancing participant experiences. Additionally, Paul held positions that encompassed grassroots event management and marketing strategies, significantly increasing participation in youth basketball competitions. Paul’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Business, Marketing, from The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Management Information Systems from Howard University.
