Nilesh Saratkar has a diverse range of experience in data engineering, data science, and data analysis. Nilesh has worked for various companies such as the New York Power Authority, Investors Bank, ACT, Wells Fargo, HFF, Quest Diagnostics Inc., AIG, Pfizer, AT&T (SBC), and ING. Some of their notable roles include Data Engineering Lead at the New York Power Authority, AWS Data Lake Engineer at Investors Bank, Principal Architect at ACT, and Big Data and Data Science Lead at Quest Diagnostics Inc. Nilesh has experience in building data lakes, implementing data governance, developing data pipelines, performing business analysis, and using various technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Spark, Python, Delta Tables, Kafka Streaming, and Apache Atlas.

Nilesh Saratkar holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Technology from Nagpur University, graduating from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as "Insight2015 - Speaker" from IBM in 2015, "Certified Green Belt" from Quest Diagnostics in 2011, and "Certified Scrum Master" from Scrum Alliance in 2008.
