Michael Ross has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael started their career at Trading Support Solutions, LLC in 1998, where they worked as a Market Data Support Analyst, Project Manager, and UNIX Administrator. In 1999, they moved on to Sithe Energies, Inc. and served as the UNIX, Storage/Backup, and Data Center Manager until 2005. Following this, they joined Thomson Financial as a Backup & Storage Consultant from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013, Michael worked at Thomson Reuters as the Manager of Technical Operations, AMERICAS. In 2014, they joined EmblemHealth as the Lead Business Continuity Planning & Infrastructure Architect, and also worked as a Project Manager/IT Contractor in the healthcare industry. Currently, they hold the position of Lead IT Resiliency & DR Analyst at the New York Power Authority, starting in 2023.
