Julene Beckford is a Principal Attorney I at New York Power Authority since June 2021. Previously, Julene held positions as a Senior Counsel at Empire State Development from September 2014 to June 2021 and as a Legislative Counsel at New York City Council from January 2008 to September 2014. With a J.D. from Albany Law School, Julene has also worked as an Of Counsel at the Law Office of Gary Reing, Esq., a Pro Bono Law Clerk at New York State Bar Association, a Law Clerk at New York State United Teachers, a Legal Intern at Albany Law School, and a Judicial Intern at Bronx County Supreme Court. Julene holds a B.A. in English and Art History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
