Thomas Socash currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Information and Instructional Technology at New York Law School, a position held since March 2010, where responsibilities include facilitating communication between IT and the institution and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Previous roles at New York Law School include Chief Information Officer, Acting Chief Information Officer, and Director of Instructional Technology, where contributions ranged from establishing governance structures to enhancing faculty skills in modern teaching methods. Prior to this, Thomas worked at Ellucian as a Technical Consultant and Strategic Consultant, and held positions including Manager of Web Development at Rowan College at Gloucester County and Founder of 211 Studios, a media consulting company. Academic achievements include a Post Master of Business Administration from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Instructional Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, both from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
