William Lamanna is an accomplished electric power systems engineer and project manager with extensive experience in planning, operations, and market dynamics within the electric power industry. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) since April 2017 and as a Lead Engineer at NYISO since December 1999, William is recognized as a subject matter expert in electric power system reliability and energy markets. Proficient in NYISO processes and knowledgeable about NERC, NPCC, and NYSRC criteria, as well as regulatory requirements from the New York PSC and FERC, William's earlier role as a Senior Engineer at the New York Power Pool involved leading system studies related to transmission, generation, and demand-side resources. William holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and Union College, respectively.
