Pallavi Jain has extensive experience in the energy market sector, currently serving as Manager of Economic Withholding & Analysis at NYISO since October 2016, where responsibilities include supporting the operation of New York's $2.5 billion wholesale capacity markets. Previously held roles at NYISO include Senior Capacity Market Operations Engineer and Energy Market Design Specialist, focusing on market design and implementing pricing logic. Additionally, Pallavi worked as an Associate Market Design Specialist, where efforts led to the development of market rules for energy storage resource participation. Prior experience includes internships at California ISO, where involvement encompassed operations planning and reactive power compensation initiatives. Pallavi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Manipal Institute of Technology.
