Sol La Argentinita Koeraus is a seasoned teaching artist and co-founder of Flamenco y Sol Dance Company, actively engaged in the arts community since 2008. Current roles include NYSCA FY2023 Grantee at the New York State Council on the Arts, teaching artist at the Brooklyn Arts Council and Lifetime Arts, and member of the Flamenco Teaching Team at New York City Center. Sol has contributed to various organizations, including Global Arts Live, TakeLessons, Mark Morris Dance Group, and Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, specializing in flamenco dance, music, and creative aging residencies. Additionally, Sol holds training in Mental Health First Aid from Thrive NYC, demonstrating a commitment to community well-being.
