Elysia Ison OD, FAAO, serves as the Senior Manager of Medical Affairs and Post Market Studies Manager at New World Medical since April 2023. Elysia has been an Optometrist at Bay Area Community Health since May 2021 and previously worked as a Clinical Research Scientist at Heru from April 2022 to April 2023. Elysia's experience includes providing comprehensive eye care at Los Gatos Vision from October 2019 to July 2021 and serving as a COVID-19 Relief Optometrist at CROW Northern Cheyenne Hospital in May 2020. Elysia completed an Optometry Residency at Northern Navajo Medical Center, delivering care to the Navajo Nation from August 2018 to August 2019. Elysia began the optometric career with multiple internships starting in 2017. Elysia earned a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2014 to 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from the same institution from 2010 to 2013.
